These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Beanie, a free browser-based multiplayer card game ("the Service") operated by the Beanie team ("we", "us", or "our") and available at playbeanie.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Beanie is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. You may use the Service provided you:
Beanie is purely a social card game played for fun. No real money, cryptocurrency, or items of monetary value are wagered, won, or lost through the Service. Any in-game scores or outcomes carry no monetary value whatsoever.
You do not need to create an account to use Beanie. You choose a display name when joining a game room; this name is temporary and carries no identity beyond that session. We are not responsible for names chosen by users.
You agree not to use Beanie to harass, bully, or abuse other players. While we do not moderate in-game chat (the game does not include a chat feature), we reserve the right to block access to users who attempt to abuse or disrupt the Service.
All content, design, code, graphics, and branding associated with Beanie — including the name, star logo, and game mechanics as implemented — are owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.
The Service is hosted using third-party infrastructure (Railway, Netlify). Optional donations are handled through Ko-fi. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service.
We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time; the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Beanie is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
